The administrator will interview, hire, provide orientation, perform evaluations, enroll children in the center, schedule staff, supervise and provide direction to staff, establish and maintain productive relationships and open communication with families, order and purchase materials as needed, perform bookkeeper duties, report to the board of directors and attend monthly board meetings, maintain records to comply with state and federal regulations and various licensing organizations, regularly inspect the center and other areas where the children may be.

Must have at least 12 semester hours of college credit in early childhood development, child development, child psychology, or the equivalent, or hold a current CDA credential, or Montessori Certificate.
