We are looking for a summer member to our housekeeping team that is professional and will ensure a positive overall impression of the Sunnahae Hotel and Cabin property as well as providing the necessary service to ensure rooms are clean and comfortable for guests. The impression created by our housekeeping team is crucial to the reputation and success of the hotel. Therefore, it is essential that all members of our housekeeping team are courteous, willing to work hard and have a good attitude.
This is a 30 hr/week (average) seasonal position, May 1, 2022 through September 2022 (beginning and end dates are flexible). Pay is dependent on experience.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain a neat appearance with a positive attitude;
- Be courteous, helpful and sincerely interested in the welfare of the guests and staff;
- Maintain clear and timely communication with other team members and Hotel Manager as necessary;
- Clean, stock and arrange guest rooms, common areas and entry ways to established standards for guest arrival or room freshens;
- Perform laundry duties and keep laundry room clean and tidy;
- Assist with guest check-in as requested by Hotel Manager;
- Notify Hotel Manager as supplies run low, damages occur or repairs are needed;
- Report suspicious guest behavior to Hotel Manager immediately.

- Work with minimal supervision;
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel information.
Education and/or Experience
Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old and legal to work in the United States
- Have at least 3 personal references
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Housekeeping experience helpful but not necessary.
