Experienced Sales Associate

Position Description:

Log Cabin Sporting Goods is seeking people with prior sales experience and knowledge of outdoor recreation and Prince of Wales Island. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of fishing, hiking, camping, or hunting and the best gear for related activities.

Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers in a warm and welcoming manner and assist customers in finding the highest quality gear for their outdoor adventure. Sales Associates will ensure that the sales floor is clean and orderly, and products are restocked and organized. Sales Associates must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, repeatedly squat or bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college
• Prior sales experience
• Knowledge of Point of Sale payment systems

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of outdoor recreation products
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
