Alaska Mining Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The Alaska Mining Hall of Fame from Fairbanks is hosting a second induction ceremony in Craig on April 12th for two historic POW miners. The first induction was held at the Alaska Miners Association (separate entity from Hall of Fame) 2024 convention in Anchorage this past fall. The AK Mining Hall of Fame felt that a second induction on POW would be appropriate.

This 1/2-mile trail along the creek connects Kegan Cove to the cabin on Kegan Creek and to Kegan Lake. The cabin is located in a protected cove in Moira Sound.
