The Alaska Mining Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. and associated museum is located in downtown Fairbanks. The foundation was founded in 1997 to honor outstanding individuals that have played important roles in the development of Alaska's mineral industry.
Wendell Dawson and Kelly Adams individuaals are known, understood, and appreciated for their contributions to the development of the Territory and subsequently the State of Alaska. These men have been inducted in the Alaska Mining Hall of Fame, Anchorage, AK, and a second induction ceremony will be held at the Craig Tribal Hall.

Hall of Fame Foundation, Tom Bundtzen will present “A History of Mining on POW” followed by the historical works of both new inductees.
Sunnahae Mountain Trail above Craig offers a workout and amazing views of Craig and the ocean from an alpine summit. New staircases and a gravel trail bed on the first half ease the footpath. Work is continuing to improve the trail to the summit. Please Share this event. Share on XShare on Facebook
This 1/2-mile trail along the creek connects Kegan Cove to the cabin on Kegan Creek and to Kegan Lake. The cabin is located in a protected cove in Moira Sound.
